Dale FFA Leadership Team Leads Elementary School Dropoff

For a lot of elementary students, high schoolers can feel like a different species entirely. Older, cooler, and a little out of reach. Last week in Dale, that gap got a little smaller.
Members of Dale FFA's Leadership Team showed up bright and early to help with the elementary car line, opening doors for parents and giving Little Pirates a few surprise smiles at the start of the school day.
For the elementary kids on the receiving end, it was likely just a fun, unexpected moment before class. But there's more happening underneath a gesture like that. When high schoolers show up for younger students, they're modeling exactly what leadership and community involvement look like, long before those younger kids reach high school themselves.

That's part of what makes Dale's FFA program stand out. Leadership isn't treated as something that starts once students are old enough for it to count. It starts with showing up and leading by example. For the Little Pirates who got a new friend on the way to class, that lesson may not have registered as a lesson at all. But somewhere down the road, it will.
